Also note that people who respond to this Forum, such as HuggiL, the Moderator, and meRobs, are just users like yourselves and not part of a development team. There is one developer: Stanley. I understand, but how can I contact Stanley directly ? He should check the users posts here in the forum......

Re: 0.8.30.5620 x265 encoder x86 machine issue ?
Running a 32-bit program on a 64-bit OS should be the same as running the 32-bit program on a 32-bit OS? The reason you can't run 64-bit applications on 32-bit OS is because the program is designed around the x86_64 instruction set which is an extension of the normal x86 instruction set (which is w...

Re: 0.8.30.5620 x265 encoder x86 machine issue ?
I just tried the 32-bit version of MediaCoder 0.8.30.5620 and it works fine with x265. I'm using a 64-bit OS but that shouldn't make a difference. It may have been corrected already so you might want to try redownloading the installer (I used the full version). Yes , it could make a difference. It'...

0.8.30.5620 x265 encoder x86 machine issue ?
I just switched to MC 0.8.30.5620 and x265 encoder don't work - Everything was fine with 0.8.29.5608 so I reinstalled it...I'm running a win7 x86 machine , so I guess there is a problem with new MC version on x86 machine; is it correct ? Is MC installer going to be updated/fixed ? Anyone else with s...

Re: Beta testing for MediaCoder H.265 encoding
Well, I just switched to MediaCoder 0.8.30.5620 and x265 encoder doesn't work !
Everything was fine with version 0.8.29.5608 , even x265 encode...Just a question: are there some problems in 0.8.30.5620 x265 encoder on x86 machine ?
thanks

Re: Beta testing for MediaCoder H.265 encoding
There is currently a bug with the 32-bit v5600 for H265 encoding. Another user reported that it's using the 64-bit x265 encoder here: http://forum.mediacoderhq.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13042 . Stanley said he will revert it so wait a bit and he'll upload the corrected version. Oh ! please let us kno...

Re: Beta testing for MediaCoder H.265 encoding
x86 version--
I'll try to reinstall, but I think problem could be I had already installed an x265 engine (and HEVC plugin) from a different software...perhaps I should uninstall that before running MediaCoder..but anyway h265 encoder is still experimental in MediaCoder, presets are still same as H264

Re: Beta testing for MediaCoder H.265 encoding
It's not working, I always get error message. I'm quite sure problem is H265 encoder, if I use h264 everything works fine. One strange thing is when I tried to convert an H265 video (encoded with a different software) in H264 all has been fine: that means the H265 engine is installed correctly (othe...
