Re: Converting to Xvid creates ffmpeg videos instead

First of all I have to apologize because I think I wrote my message in the wrong section. I'm sorry! Ir should be moved in a section for requesting help. Nobody answer my question in days. So I bump this thread just once hoping for someone to help me understand why newer version of medaicder creates...

Converting to Xvid creates ffmpeg videos instead

Month ago I asked the same question! After so many months and versions still mediacoder is not able to convert to real Xvid! I'm using version 0.8.345716. This is the last version able to convert video files to real Xvid avi using Xvid video codec! I installed all the newer version but no one conver...

Re: Opening Mediacoder Avi files in virtualdubmod

I only get the first warning message. If I answer "no" no other error messages appear (maybe you don't have xvid installed or maybe it's not set the correct way.) If I answer "no" the video it opens up normally and nothing strange happen till I save to a new file (for example if I cut it or if I app...

Re: Opening Mediacoder Avi files in virtualdubmod

The video opens up perfectly in virtualdubmod but of course now I have to make a cbr mp3 in virtualdubmod so the procedure it's even longer than before! Why Mediacoder it's not able to mux xv...

Re: How to force deinterlacing?

Mediacoder says that this video is "progressive". As I told you before the reason is that this file has been converted from a dvd to a progressive video. But the person who ripped it didn't use any filter to remove the interlaced effects and so now what I see is something like this: http://upload.wi...

Re: How to force deinterlacing?

O my God! I feel so stupid right now!! :o I swear that I never saw all the tabs on the right of the "Picture tab"....so stupid! Now I'm looking at the Deinterlace panel for the first time. It's quite complex for a newbie like me....the only way I know to understand it is to try again and again (that...

Opening Mediacoder Avi files in virtualdubmod

Hi guy. This is my second post here! I wrote the first a few seconds ago. I use mediacoder to convert mp4, mkv, ts etc to Xvid. Because I often have to do multiple cuts in every video and the only program I use to do more than one cut is virtualdubmod. So I convert the videos to avi to open them in ...

How to force deinterlacing?

Hello! This is my first post here. I use Mediacoder from a long time. I always had a few problems with it but I never joined the forum because they were not so import issues. I use mediacoder to convert videos from television and from the net to Xvid (so I can easily cut them in virtualdubmod). This...
