Re: x265 clips cause VLC to crash at their last second

It was the newest version available at the time (Dezember 2019). Probably 0.8.59.

It worked just fine with x265 preset "Ultra Fast" for whatever reason. Probably something about b-frames, i-frames or whatever gets changed in the preset settings and could cause display errors.

x265 clips cause VLC to crash at their last second

I want to create a short clip of 10-60 seconds out of a x265 movie but VLC cant properly play them. There seems to be an pixel error at the end and VLC will crash in the last second of a clip. Mediacoder sais the original movie codec is "V_MPEGH/ISO/HEVC". The movie tag sais its x265. To create the ...

Re: No output file after transcoding

I solved the issue now. It was about special letters or characters in the file name. Mediacoder cant handle them somehow. There wasnt even an error message or anything. After I renamed the file with standard casual letters only, it worked out fine.

No output file after transcoding

Just installed MediaCoder x64 v0.8.57.5970 and transcoded a WMV3 file into x265.

State is "Done", but in the <Original Folder> (as set Output Folder) is only the original file.

Re: Please make sure MediaCoder is able to connect to Intern

Even with disabled Firewalls and other kind of shields, this popup still reopens itself everytime I try to close it. It doesnt matter if I click OK or the close button, also I clicked ~500 times already. File needed 1 hour of 100% CPU and doesnt get finished because of this. So far, it looks like th...

Re: Immediate Crash on Startup

I got same problem here. Tried versions 0.8.19.5370 0.8.21.5392 and 0.8.24.5542 Installed as admin, checked "revert settings from previous installed versions", deinstalled previous versions before. I did pretty much everything described in this thread. The registry key " HKEY_USERS\CurrentProfilId\S...

Re: Unable to use search function: too many "common words"

Its not about "wanting someone to respond", its about the settings of the search function.

Its not a real search-function if I have to post a topic about my search-queries before Im allowed to search them.
Tharts plain utterly bad service and simply not appropriate in these times.
