Re: Subs in copy mode
Can't hardsub if you have "Copy video" enabled. After all, burning in subs requires the video stream to be edited. If you want the file size to be roughly the same, then just set the video encoding settings to about the same as the source file. Your MediaInfo readout has all the necessary informatio...

Re: Can Mediacoder detect the track names online ?
AFAIK, MediaCoder doesn't support that kind of functionality. It can't search online nor can it detect the track names from the CD metadata. You'll probably have to use another program to rip CDs if you don't want to manually edit the files to put in the metadata.

Re: Need advice on how to convert PCM audio.
I think WAV is the closest to uncompressed audio quality you'll get out of the formats you listed. Although I find AAC isn't too bad and I'm unsure about DTS quality. So, in terms of settings, container is MKV, audio format should be Wavpack (play around with advanced settings to balance size vs qua...

Re: Output file only 400 bytes
What's the other encoding settings you're using? WebM only supports VP8/VP9 (video) and Vorbis/Opus (audio) so make sure you're using those. I'm not sure about bitrates and such for this format though as I've never used it. If you're unsure about any of this, make a preset then post it here and I'll...

Re: Convert DVD to MJPEG
You did set the container to AVI so the result will be an AVI file. Under the "Container" tab, choose the "MJPEG" option in the drop down list...GabbyMS12 wrote:I have it set to MPEG2/ MP3/ AVI.

Re: x264 with 2-pass and auto bitrate
I believe High10 profile with 5.1 level has a limit of 720,000Kbps (or 720Mbps) for the bitrate so you're not hitting a limit. Maybe try different settings such as setting the bitrate yourself?

Re: error 014 whenever CPU encoding is used
Error 14 is more based on the settings you've chosen (14 relates to a video encoder error). So what's the settings you set for the video?
