Can't convert variable frame rate H.264 w/5540
Trying to convert a 720p video with variable frame rate (don't have access to the file right now but I believe it was 29.83xyz) to 480p (854x480, 30 fps or 24 fps). Transcode stops about 10% of the way in repeatedly. Fell back to build 5380 and it transcodes (albiet with very slight a/v sync issues ...

Build 5380: can't convert .mpa to .mp3
Trying to convert from .mpa to .mp3 with Build 0.8.20.5380. Regardless of media duration or if I enter start/stop times, I end up with about 20 seconds of audio. Was able to do the conversion w/Audacity but this obviously took a lot more work.

Re: Start/End Times not honored in latest revision
Limited testing but Build 0.8.20.5380 solved the start/end time issue I reported above.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to convert .mpa -> .mp3 at all (it converts about 20-30 second worth regardless if start/end time is specified or the whole file is converted. I'll open a new thread on that next.

Re: Use of TAB key in the Time tab
I'd like to request support for the tab key to navigate fields. I'm constantly pressing tab to go to the next field and hearing the warning beep that it doesn't work.

Re: Start/End Times not honored in latest revision
After experimenting a little more, the end time for audio conversions is being honored pretty nicely (albeit with the copied over executables).

Re: Start/End Times not honored in latest revision
Copying the files seems to improve things, but the times still aren't accurate (for example, I asked it to stop at 40 seconds and it ended up at 1:03.

Start/End Times not honored in latest revision [FIXED]
Converting from .avi to .mp4 and also .mp4 to .mp3. Older versions let me specify the start/end times to encode. Build 5338 seems to ignore both the start and end times.
5293 was much better in this area, but sometimes for .mp4->.mp3 conversons, it would ignore the end time.

Re: Build 5177 gives MP3 audio garbage, MPlayer bug?
What happens if you disable video and only transcode audio? In my case, I'm converting audio formats so there's no video to disable. Updated to 5182, and after listening closely to the noise, it appears as if the sampling rate is wrong (i.e. slower), but its difficult to tell for sure given the noi...

Sorry, I forgot to mention I was converting from .mpa to .mp3 (same results with .avi to .mp3).

Re: Build 5177 gives MP3 audio garbage, MPlayer bug?
Same problem with build 5180 (64-bit). mp3 audio is garbage 99% of the time. 5166 doesn't have this problem, but 5166 doesn't seem to honor the start/end times for the encoding request. I guess I'll have to fall back to the 2010 versions until this is fixed. Also, feature request. Any chance you cou...
