Re: Build 5191-5196: Frame rate doubles for Xvid/AVI
I also reported this problem is September. Although I really like MediaCoder, I have decided not to use it until this bug is fixed. If a framerate is specified for the transcoded file, then that is the value that should be applied without the need for obscure override tweaks. Framerates were working...

MediaCoder2011-R9-5195 crashes on start-up! [FIXED]
Hi, I downloaded a clean version of MediaCoder2011-R9-5195 and it installed okay. On start-up, I get the following message "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click OK to terminate the application." Running on fully patched version of Windows Vista 32-bit. Never had any issu...

Re: Build 5185 Transcoding Doubles Frame Rate!!
As I mentioned, this problem has been previously reported. However, it does not appear to be a simple problem in the file header. Using AVIFRATE to change the value leads to playback problems. E.g. playback duration is doubled, jerky playback and audio/video sync issue. This problem did not occur in...

Re: Sound drops out during playback of a transcoded file
Thank you for your assistance, here is my response from further tests: 1. The original file is complete and plays back using MediaCoder "mPlayer". 2. I have tried using the latest "2011-SP2" version and it has problems too. In fact it seems that there is an additional voice/audio sync problem in the...

Sound drops out during playback of a transcoded file
Hi, I have just started to used MediaCoder (2011 version 5002) and have found a curious problem. When converting an AV file (Video:AVC, Audio: AAC, Container:MP4) to ( Video:Xvid, Audio:MP3, Container:AVI), although the transcoding completes to 100%, the audio drops out (no audio) about 30% into the...
