Re: GPU Encoding is now super slow

I suspect the CUDA encoder has timed out again. Set your time and date to something in March and see if that helps. It worked for me on my laptop.

It's worse this time, cos you don't get an error, it just switches to encoding using the CPU and doesn't tell you that is what it's doing.

Re: MediaCoder and iPod Edition CUDA problems

Okay it appears to be another date problem.

Setting my date to March got rid of the Cuda 1.1 error.

MediaCoder is now happily using the GPU to transcode as I type.

A kludge for now, hopefully it will get fixed in a future update.

Re: MediaCoder and iPod Edition CUDA problems

Well I tried again tonight, unintalled Media coder and reinstalled, but still no joy with the GPU encoding.

Re: MediaCoder and iPod Edition CUDA problems

Can't help as it has happened to me as well, running the 32 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium.

I thought it may have been down to installing the latest Nvidia drivers for Ion, but the trial version of Badaboom works fine using Cuda to transcode.
