mkv to avi doesn't work with MediaCoder

I wish to convert a video from mkv to avi so that I can play direct from my LCD TV's USB port. However it seem like mediacoder is unable to open and do any conversion on this particular file. The mplayer can't play the file as well. I can play the same file on my laptop with VLC player though. Any a...

I am on Window Home Premiun 64bit too and my iPod Edition version is 0.7.5 build 4710.
It works fine.

Either your build of MC doesn't work for Group or it failed to convert the AVI with incomplete Properties, which may indicate a faulty/corrupted file. Does the latter file play in MPlayer (select file and click 'Play')? What happens if you reverse the order of the files in the queue? I can play bot...

Are both files AVI format? And, are both the same video and audio specifications ? They look almost the same for me.. except the 2nd file doesn't say anything about bitrate and was very brief in the container section. here's the properties of the 1st avi file http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/9027...
