Re: Build 5280: Converting DVD to MKV => error 015

I meant to type AC-3, not AAC.
Unchecking copy audio seems to be working. However, now it is decoding and reencoding the audio. What is the problem with copy audio?

Build 5280: Converting DVD to MKV => error 015

I'm converting a DVD filesystem from a hard disk folder using Add Track, track 1, whole track (18 chapters). DVD has single aac 5.1 audio stream. Conversion is done to MKV with H.264 video + audio stream copy. The full conversion takes place into the temp folder, but fails when mediacoder calls mkvm...

Re: 0.7.5.4742: problems re-encoding for itouch

Ater reading the error report on the uncompressed AVI working with an older mediacoder version I tried transcoding my test file using version 6.2.4255 and I can confirm that with this old version *there are no lipsync problems*. I also did a fresh transcode using version 0.7.5.4755. I configured bot...

Re: 0.7.5.4742: problems re-encoding for itouch

I have configured mediacoder to keep the original frame rate of 23.976 fps. At the moment, picture - Frame Rate in mediacoder is unchecked and the pull down menu says original (greyed out). I have also tried setting Frame Rate Enabled to false in the advanced menu - it makes no difference. With eith...

Re: 0.7.5.4742: problems re-encoding for itouch

Changing b-frames to 3 from 0 greatly improved pixellation. Now most of the video plays back with a clean picture, though every now and then there are still periods of several seconds with severe pixellation making the image illegible. Lipsync has not really improved. Audio and video are in sync in ...

0.7.5.4742: problems re-encoding for itouch

Hi, I have a number of MP4's encoded with High Profile Level 4.1. I want to re-encode these to Baseline Level 3.0 for an itouch. I'm using mediacoder standard edition as I also encode for other devices. No matter what method I use, I run into problems. Others on this board suggest using X.264 encode...

0.7.5.4742 - JM Encoder does not run on Vista (SOLVED)

Hi, Have mediacoder 0.7.5.4742 installed on Vista SP2. JM encoder jobs fail with mediacoder error 014. The reason appears to be that lencod.exe doesn't run. Its error message is "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event...
