I have a small suggestion for User Interface to made it a little simpler and made it more compatible with Small screens like Laptops I wanted to suggest if it's possible remove Expert mode at all and move it's content to normal mode and put them for example here in this tab that I show in the pictur...

Honestly I don't care too much about this hardware accelerated encoding . right now non of them provide any two pass encoding and so quality wise they can be compared to UptraFast preset in X264 . well personally I use a custom and provide something between Placebo and very slow for my encoding but ...

Extra codec pack

Does somebody have a working link to Extra codec pack ?
and please don't suggest to use options in the installer , after more than 20 time
trying it with various options and even trying to use some proxy and vpn I can
assure you installer won't work

well since I updated mediacoder to build 5150 it seems I can't use 2 pass encoding while( variable, average and constant ) bitrate work as usual as media coder only do the first pass and before doing the second pass it says the work is done I'm trying to convert a MKV file which has one h264 and two...

There is a problem with this version that don't allow the program start and say there is a missing files
which is "SDL_image64.dll"

please add opencl support like Cuda ! Well it's a solution but not very elegant
Go to

Files>Settings>Video Sources>Mencoder>ExtraOptions

and then add this

-sid 99

now as usually there is not 99 subtitle in a video then Mencoder add no subtitle
you also can use the same trick with Mplayer

Options to scale video size

right now there is an option in the media coder to allow you resize the encoded video by entering the size you want. I wonder is it possible to add a option to allow you to resize the video by entering a number like 0.75 or 1 or 1.25 or ..... and it change the height and width of the video automatic...
