4799 crashes when converting AVI DV files
Just did a fresh install of 4799 (I have reverted all settings). Now, when I try to convert a AVI DV (PAL SD) file, Mediacoder stops with error 19 after a few minutes, leaving an incomplete .MP4 file (target settings: h264/LC AAC / .MP4 - most other settings default) I have the problem on 2 differen...

Re: can't transcode audio + copy video (mp4/amr to mp4/aac)
the funniest part is that when I did this a couple of months back (perhaps more..), i.e. with a much older version of mediacoder (I don't remember which one), with a video of the same format created by the same device, it worked

Re: how to make good interlaced H.264 ?
Hello, if you select x.264/h.264 then you should select in the right tab x.264 and there in the options advanced. Then a Browser opens and there you should set "interlaced video content" (down below middle) to true. Or you select Options|"User interface mode" from normal to expert mode. Then select...

Re: can't find settings for playback MP4 on my mobile phone
I have tested the two files on another HTC model (Touch HD, I believe): same result.
So the problem is not with my HTC unit...
Any more hint would be appreciated (and don't forget to carefully read the whole thread to see what I have tested so far).

Re: can't find settings for playback MP4 on my mobile phone
Strange....when I revert all settings and use your preset, I get 16 ReFrames (presumably b/c of the "very slow" preset you are using). I tried reverting all settings and use settings as close as possible as the other encoder I have (TMPGEnc Xpress 4, using the Mainconcept codec). I have made two sma...

Re: Interlaced video & field order - patched x264 needed
The option is not specified for x264 in current mediacoder. This will be improved later soon. Hello Stanley, After several months concentrating on other things, I come back to this wrong field order in interlaced x264 encoding issue. Is there an update ? What would be the version/patches/method/wor...

Re: About the new aspect ratio option in MediaCoder
Sorry if this a dumb remark, but why are some "obvious" 16:9 (PAR=1:1) dimensions not listed in the dropdown ?
e.g. 320*180 (useful for 320*240 PDA displays), 640*360 ?
(not sure to what usual DAR dimensions like 320*160 or 640*368 correspond ?)
