Re: CUDA slow due to de-muxing and re-muxing
Did you try and uncheck the Demux For Audio/video Sources check box in the Demuxer tab? I've yet to work with files that large but with 500+mb output files the combining at the end of the encode takes 15 seconds or less. This is a little off topic but have you tried encoding anamorphic sources yet? ...

Re: Can mediacoder auto calculate the height of the video?
This is something I would be interested in as well. Downsizing in mediacoder is a royal pain in the buttttttt... Unless there's a group of settings I've overlooked downsizing is near impossible without calculating the res and dar beforehand via some other tool. I use the output mp4's in various webs...

Re: Quality based ffmpeg encoding using CRF(Constant Rate Factor
Hey, I tried and it semi works, err well it leaves the -cqp setting in the main cmd line. I'm guessing the 2 fight with each other. The results have been odd. After 7 test conversions adjusting both, they both seem to still be functioning. Normally I would use straight x264 but the last few build's ...

Quality based ffmpeg encoding using CRF(Constant Rate Factor
Hey I just noticed in the latest version ffmpeg uses QCP for the Quality-Based "should be CRF" ffmpeg encodes.
Is there anyway to set it to CRF?

Any update on incorrect aspect ratios with cuda?
I was wondering if there was any progress with cuda's aspect ratios? It pretty much sets everything to 16/9 if left default. eg: toss in a video thats 852x356. Leave all picture settings default. Click encode and the output/end result video is @ 16/9 When putting the output mp4 into mediacoder then ...

Re: Aspect Ratio Correction (filter - or built in ?)
./signed!!! Dealing with aspect ratios is my only real gripe with mediacoder. Everything else is great. As newbie of a program as badaboom is, it has a really simple/automatic way of dealing with every aspect ratio you can think of. It's prolly the best I've seen if ur just looking to toss in a vid ...
